The UK wind market is mature enough to be demanding, and dynamic enough to keep everyone on their toes. The challenge is real: as assets multiply and regulations evolve, the gap between well-managed and poorly-managed wind portfolios will widen. Technical rigour and financial discipline are no longer differentiators — they’re table stakes.

Glasgow in May will be a good test of where the industry’s priorities lie. We expect plenty of conversation around grid constraints, repowering, and the evolving role of independent advisors — topics that open directly onto the broader question of how the UK reaches its 2030 wind targets.
