We are currently seeking a Junior Asset Manager to be based in any one of our main offices (London, Paris, Groningen or Fasoula).


Job Description

As part of the Greensolver’s technical team you will work alongside the UK technical asset management team to support them in the operation of Wind Farms. Assisting in the operational control of all aspects of a wind farm. Analyzing data, issue resolution and driving performance, quality improvements and wind farm administration.

This role has aspects that are broader than just a technical function including supporting the team with implementation of quality systems and processes which deliver performance improvements.


The Junior Asset Manager will:

  • Assist Asset Managers on day to day duties
  • Operational Controller duties plus on call duties, including weekends
  • Weekly client reports
  • Daily Turbine / Solar status monitoring
  • Performance Analysis
  • Turbine Logbook monitoring
  • Initial fault investigation
  • Creating & Reviewing Health and Safety plans
  • Assist in populating contractual reports
  • General admin
  • Cover holidays of Asset Managers

The position may involve travelling to wind farms in the UK and the possibility of other wind farms in Europe.

Further, we require the chosen individual to provide a share in the on-call shifts, which is performed remotely.

Flexibility in working hours will be required during busy periods. The ability to work proactively and independently is essential.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • High quality academic background
  • Educated in engineering, ideally electrical and Mechanical engineering, renewable energy engineering (or very similar)
  • Systematic, highly organized work style
  • Hardworking and flexible approach to work (it’s not a 9-5 culture)
  • Advanced standard MS Office suite, ideally Power BI
  • Strong EXCEL – VLOOK UP, PIVOT etc
  • Fluent English with good communications style
  • Right to work in the UK

Preferred (for More Experienced Candidates)

  • Experience in the tracking, resolution and reporting of issues
  • Experience in the production of client reports

We are looking for a Site Manager, who will have the following responsibilities:

  • Management of the construction of PV Solar plants (utility scale) within schedule, budget, and quality;
  • Lead the project team members;
  • Interface with customer;
  • Apply best project management practices, including Risk & Opportunity Management;
  • Management for contractual obligations;
  • Project reporting (internal and external);
  • Plan and prepare accurate project estimates;
  • Establish cost report for control of projects;
  • Compliance with Greensolver’s policies and procedures about HSE policy.


The ideal candidate will have/ be:

  • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent;
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction projects with medium to large size projects;
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management experience with medium and large size projects (preferably in the energy sector);
  • Experience in Contract, Risk and Procurement Management;
  • Consolidated knowledge in a planning software (Project, Primavera, etc.);
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus);
  • Knowledge of HSE & Quality Management.
