A key event for European power investment

On 16–17 September 2026, Wood Mackenzie will host the second edition of its European Power Investment Summit in the City of London. The summit brings together investors, project developers, utilities, policymakers and grid operators to examine the key drivers and challenges shaping investment across the European power landscape.

This year’s programme covers, among other topics, asset management and O&M for renewable asset owners, the business case for standalone and co-located BESS, lessons on negative pricing from the Iberian market, grid modernisation and the outlook for data centre demand — themes that sit at the heart of what we do.
