Greensolver Announce UK Technical Advisory Consultant

Greensolver are delighted to announce the new appointment of Carlos Sanchez Smith as our UK technical advisory consultant. Whilst being based in the UK, Carlos will assist with advisory work across the business on a global basis.

The role will cover wind/solar resource assessment and energy yield due diligence analysis, layout design and optimisation, and the design of optimal site-specific measurement campaigns for wind and solar sites.

Carlos has worked in the renewable energy industry since 2014 and has experience in both consultancy and development sectors. Initially starting out as a wind resource analyst, he was responsible for the control and monitoring of meteorological mast campaigns, site pre-selection studies for onshore wind farms, energy yield assessments (including due diligence) and working with geographic information systems (GIS). Carlos also has experience conducting availability warranty checks and contractual compliance, project performance monitoring, loss energy calculations, evaluating life extensions and repowering, has worked on hybrid storage projects as well as developing analysis techniques to support asset management and operations needs.
