September 10th 2026, in London – Greensolver, a leading European technical advisor and asset manager in renewable energy, announces the appointment of Marie Bartle as BESS Director. Based in London, she joined the company at the beginning of September and will lead the development of Greensolver’s battery energy storage (BESS) offering.

Marie Bartle brings extensive experience in energy storage to the role. She previously served for five years as Global Head of Energy Storage at a major European advisory firm, where she worked on approximately 10 GW of BESS projects and supported clients across more than 50 countries, spanning battery storage, wind and solar PV.

Her appointment marks a further step in the growth of Greensolver’s storage activities, at a time when the European market is accelerating rapidly. According to EUPD Research, European battery storage installations are expected to reach 57 GWh in 2026, a 78% increase on the previous year. As deployment outpaces operating experience, asset owners, investors and lenders increasingly require independent expertise across the full BESS lifecycle, from technical due diligence and revenue modelling to safety, compliance and long-term asset management.

In her role, Marie Bartle will develop Greensolver’s BESS proposition, support the commercial teams in delivering client mandates, and represent the company’s storage expertise at industry events across Europe. Her arrival strengthens Greensolver’s ability to provide clients with an integrated view of storage assets, combining technical advisory, financial consultancy and asset management.
