Role:

Greensolver is looking for an IT Software Support: Power BI / Office 365 Expert to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of Greensolver operational software and development within Greensolver. This role is based in our Porto office.

Main responsibilities will be to maintain, support & develop Greensolver’s Power BI capability with a principal focus on the reporting platform as well as operating as a consultant within Greensolver. Your Power BI capability will focus on converting business and client reporting requirements into user friendly, Technical / commercial reports & dashboards. Connecting to Greensolver’s desktop API, Azure databases, SharePoint and other data sources. You will be Greensolver’s Power BI advocate. The role will not be limited to Power BI and a strong understanding of Office 365 is essential.

Your consultancy capability will focus on providing cost effective technical resource to projects and business development activities and to meeting targeted levels of utilisation and productivity.

The Junior Asset Manager & Finance Analyst role will consist in assisting all financial aspects required from the assigned customer portfolio as follows:

Energy Yield Assessment and Due Diligence Engineer 

France

Description 

We are currently seeking an Energy Yield Assessment and DD Engineer – the position should preferably be based in Paris, but home office from elsewhere in France is a possibility. The Energy Yield Assessment and DD Engineer will: 

  • Conduct due diligence analysis with regards to solar/wind resource, energy yield, project capacities, wind farm/ PV plant layout and suitability of sites for proposed PV/wind farm sites, notably in new markets.  
  • PV plant design and equipment review. Wind farm turbine layout design review is a plus. 
  • Liaising with solar and wind turbine equipment suppliers regarding technology options. 
  • Analysis and reporting of site measurements as well as production data. 
  • Production of internal solar / wind resource and Energy Production Estimates with the highest possible accuracy. These are delivered in accordance with required project timelines. Applicable for pre- and post-construction yield analysis. 
  • Reviewing third party reports and providing analysis on these.   
  • Reviewing of data, energy production reports and site conditions reports for potential acquisition sites. 
  • Performance review of PV plants in operation. Performance review of wind farms in operations is an advantage. 
  • Review of contracts linked to the sites (EPC, O&M, Grid connection agreements, PPA…) is a plus. 
  • Experience in energy storage system analysis is a plus. 
  • Participate in DD process and sometimes lead the relationship with the clients. 

 

Qualifications / Experience 

  • This role requires a minimum of 5 years of pre-construction Yield Analysis experience, preferably across a range of markets; 
  • Solar analysis and project design experience essential; wind farm experience is an advantage.  
  • Operational PV plant analysis experience is an advantage.

As part of our Sales & Marketing team, your main tasks will be:

We are currently seeking a Global HSE Manager who will: 

Externally 

Ensure the HSE standards are well respected for Wind, Solar and Storage assets under management, 

Deliver expert support on operational matter in the UK, 

When needed, attend clients meeting on topics pertaining to HSE and carry HSE sites audits, 

Ensure the OFGEM/WTSR/HV SR standards for Wind farms, Solar farms & Storage sites are well respected, 

Coordinate with several HSE expert (external service providers) based on several geography (NL, PL, Greece, France, etc…), 

Represent Greensolver in the workshops of the Wind Association (SafetyOn). 

Internally 

Define HSE strategy in line with Greensolver Management, 

Manage HSE Guidelines and documentation, 

Define and keep track of HSE KPIs on all geographies, 

Define & Manage processes pertaining to PPE, trainings, procedures and subcontractors, 

Support Incident/accident investigation & related action plan  

Develop new HSE services for our clients,

As part of the company’s technical team and working closely with stakeholders, the Global HSE Manager will be the HSE leader for Greensolver. 

The post will involve occasional travels to wnd, solar and storage sites in the UK and also abroad. Climbing wind turbines will be necessary sometimes, as well as carrying out site audits. This post is therefore not recommended for people susceptible to dizziness or with cardiac problems.  

On-call duty, covering one weekend in five in average, is to be expected (on-call by telephone, not requiring travel). 

Qualifications / Experience 

Hold relevant Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or NEBOSH National Diploma or working towards. 

Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as Technical or Graduate Member  

Have knowledge of Risk Assessment practices, COSHH and the implementation of appropriate control processes 

Have at least 3 years of experience from a similar HSE role within wind, storage or solar and experience with HSE company policies and processes 

In depth knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environment  Legislation. 

Knowledge of EU and International HSE Legislation and the ability to interpret government approved Codes of Practices to ensure legal compliance (desirable) 

Have experience of working at height and GWO Training 

Have good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office applications 

Languages: English  

More than five years’ experience in the REN sector and more specifically in wind asset management, wind maintenance, or construction management. Any other sector skills or experiences over the ones specified above will be a plus (PMO, Due Diligence, project development…) 

We are looking for someone with good communications skills, analytic and proactive, to integrate the team. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
