Greensolver, the leading third-party provider of services to the renewable energy sector, (since 2008), manages wind, solar and battery storage assets for its investment funds clients in Europe.

Greensolver is ramping up its development through an organic growth (new clients) and external growth strategy (acquisition and partnerships). Greensolver recently joined the Voltalia group and operates as an independent entity.

Greensolver offers a wide range of solutions covering technical, administrative, accounting and financial operations of wind and solar plants and advises investors on the acquisition or sale of assets.

We are looking for a Business Development intern to join our London office for 6 months.

As part of our Business Development team, your main tasks will be:

  • Participating in the development of the commercial strategy of the company
  • Prospecting potential clients (investment funds, banks and project developers)
  • Drafting client offers
  • Organising sales actions via the CRM tool (Salesforce)
  • Analysis of sales performance in a monthly reporting (KPI)
  • Support in the launch of our commercial activity in other regions (the Netherlands, Poland…)
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager with the organisation and set-up of internal events and Greensolver attendance at external conferences and exhibitions
  • Administrative duties

You will be working closely with the Business Development Manager and the Marketing Manager. You will also be working with the operations and advisory teams, made up of engineers, in order to best answer our clients’ requests.

As part of your role, you may be asked to travel within the London area to client meetings.

Experience: Previous experience or internship in sales is desirable

Qualifications: Graduate degree

Professional skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (you will be required to work with staff across our offices and will be contacting clients)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills (you will be working on multiple projects at the same time)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to get stuck in!
  • An interest in the renewable energy industry is a bonus

IT Skills:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Languages: Fluent English required, French desired

Start date: As soon as possible

Contract: full-time

Role: Greensolver is looking for an Asset Manager & Finance Analyst for its growing Porto office.

The Asset Manager & Finance Analyst role will consist in assisting all financial aspects required from the assigned customer portfolio as follows:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and/or annual reporting of the portfolio
  • Analyzing and updating the financial models for the operating assets
  • Performs ratio calculations of assets
  • Assisting in the preparation of SPV’s Operating Budgets and Cash Flow
  • Tracks and delivers covenants as required
  • Following up on the monthly production billing
  • Contract Management of the portfolio
  • Interfacing with relevant stakeholders (i.e. customers and lenders)
  • Following up on purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoicing

Qualifications / Experience

Experience: From 1 to 3 years (previous experience in renewables will be valued)

Qualifications: BA or BS Degree in Business Administration or Finance.

Professional skills: We are looking for someone with the following skillset:

  • A truly communicative person who will effectively interface both with the internal team across our European offices and our clients (investment funds and banks).
  • A problem-solver who is very detail-oriented and able to work autonomously.
  • A friendly and cooperative person willing to work on start-up atmosphere.
  • With an outstanding multi-tasking mindset, capable of prioritizing and manage the time effectively.
  • With an excellent verbal and written communications skills in Portuguese and English language. Spanish, German and/or French are a plus.
  • Proficient with Office suite tools, mostly Excel and PowerPoint.
