The Importance of regular cleaning and maintenance of your wind asset blades

It is extremely important to ensure you clean the blades on a wind turbine as it can improve the asset performance by up to 20 percent.

Some factors that can affect the performance of a wind asset include:

  • dust
  • insects
  • ice pollution etc.

As an investor, maximising your investment is your main priority, therefore Greensolver carry out regular blade inspections to highlight any defects that may arise on our wind assets, optimising their energy production. Once we highlight a potential issue with the blades of a wind asset, we then suggest the best solution to improve the performance of your asset.

Greensolver can also liaise directly with your wind asset manufacturer to ensure that they are meeting their obligations and meeting the requirements of the asset maintenance contract.
