Greensolver is pleased to announce the nomination of Steve Ikin as CEO of the Greensolver group, with immediate effect.

As the CEO of Greensolver, Steve will take on the responsibility of all the operations of the Group, now present in 9 countries across Europe and offering independent expert services ranging from advisory, construction and asset management services.

He succeeds Guy Auger, the founder of Greensolver and CEO since 2008, who oversaw the significant growth and development of the business, making Greensolver a household name in Asset Management. Guy will remain associated with Greensolver and continue to play a significant role as a member of the Board of Directors of the company.

Steve has more than 20 years of experience, the majority of which in the renewables sector. He worked for Nordex for 7 years, until 2016, where he left as the CFO of the Global Services division, based in Germany. He then worked as Director of Operations and Asset Management for Community WindPower for 3 years, and was until recently Global Director of Asset Management at K2 Management.

“I am very happy to have Steve take over my role as CEO of Greensolver. Since joining the Voltalia group, our growth prospects have increased tenfold and I felt it was the right time to pass the reins to someone with the depth of experience and management skills that Steve has to take the company to new heights. I am delighted to remain actively involved in the company through its Board, and look forward to our success”, declares Guy Auger, outgoing CEO and Board member.

“Greensolver is a company with a quite unique position on the market, with a strong culture, a passion for creating value and impressive achievements. I am very enthusiastic about bringing my skills to the table and using my experience to boost the growth of the group in Asset Management and Advisory services, in Europe and beyond”, says Steve Ikin.
