Greensolver is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Ikin as CEO of the Greensolver Group.

As CEO of Greensolver, Steve will oversee all group operations across nine countries in Europe, delivering independent expert services ranging from technical advisory and construction supervision to asset management.

He succeeds Guy Auger, founder of Greensolver and CEO since 2008, who has led the company through significant growth and development, establishing Greensolver as a renowned player in asset management. Guy will remain closely involved with Greensolver, continuing to play a key role as a member of the company’s board of directors.

Steve brings over 20 years of experience, primarily in the renewable energy sector. He spent seven years at Nordex until 2016, where he served as CFO of the Global Services division in Germany. He then worked for three years as Director of Operations and Asset Management at Community WindPower, and most recently held the position of Global Director of Asset Management at K2 Management.

“I am very pleased to have Steve take over as CEO of Greensolver. Since joining the Voltalia group, our growth prospects have expanded tremendously, and I felt this was the right time to hand over the reins to someone with Steve’s extensive experience and strong management skills to take the company to new heights. I am excited to remain actively involved in the company through the board of directors and look forward to our continued success,” said Guy Auger, outgoing CEO and board member.

“Greensolver holds a unique position in the market, with a strong culture, a passion for value creation, and an impressive track record. I am thrilled to bring my expertise to the company and use my experience to drive the group’s growth in asset management and advisory services across Europe and beyond,” added Steve Ikin, newly appointed CEO.
