History
Greensolver was created as we felt there was a real need in the market for an experienced and independent service provider catering to the infrastructure investors to deliver professional, world class services. Greensolver was until 2013 a subsidiary of Veolia Environnement and Eolfi where it became quickly a leading independent technical expert in the field of renewable energy.
In April 2013, following an MBO, Guy Auger, its current president, bought Greensolver via Green Services Group. Early 2016, Greensolver merged with Dutch asset manager PLY Energy to expand our service offering in northern Europe.
In 2018, we acquired British asset manager ENTAP to consolidate our global European presence and deliver an enhanced wind & solar asset management to investors.
We benefit from 4 European offices (Paris, London, Groningen & Dublin) and 40+ employees dedicated to assets optimization.
Our ambitions are global but we remain a human-sized company, owned by people who manage assets every
day, adapt quickly to an ever-changing market and have a vision of further growth for our company.
In February 2020, Voltalia acquired Greensolver. This transaction enables Greensolver to continue to improve the quality of our services offered to our customers while giving us the means to accelerate our growth.
Voltalia is an international player in the renewable energy sector. It is a significant service provider, that offers EPC and O&M services in more than 19 countries worldwide. It also offers services through independent subsidiaries like Greensolver, in the field of energy efficiency (Helexia) and wind spares (My Wind Parts). Voltalia also develops projects of various renewable energy sources (wind, solar, hydraulic, biomass, hydro and storage) that it then sells or retains. Voltalia is also a leader in the Corporate PPA market.
With Voltalia’s support, Greensolver will continue to offer independent advice to its customers, and now increase the speed of its development through the financial support of its mother company.
Vision
We are truly independent. We do not develop projects and we are fully dedicated to being a service-only provider. This ensures our customers get our full, undivided attention and ensures no conflicts of interest between us.
We don’t see ourselves only as asset managers, we see ourselves as asset maximisers. From construction to operation and consulting, we go beyond and constantly look for ways to get more production out of the asset and over a longer period of time.
Certifications
These certifications confirm our commitment to continuously improve and deliver our services with the highest level of quality and sustainability and within health & safety standards.
